  • Preliminary works commenced on Toombul site

    We are pleased preliminary works have commenced on the Toombul site in preparation for demolition. This includes the relocation of telecommunication assets and electrical works to allow the bus interchange to continue to operate throughout the demolition phase.

    These early works are planned to be completed by the end of this year. In the meantime, we are finalising the appointment of a demolition contractor and we look forward to meeting with our local neighbours to share more information about the demolition program and answer any questions.

Acknowledgement of Country

Toombul acknowledges the Pine Rivers and Brisbane Miguntyun people who spoke the Yuggara (Yugarapul) language as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Toombul stands today, and we recognise their enduring connection to the land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
