• Exchange of contracts for the sale of the site to Irvine Group

  After several months of carefully considering the best path forward for redevelopment, we have today exchanged contracts for the sale of the site to Brisbane-based Irvine Group, a step that will enable fresh investment and the planning of an exciting new mixed-use precinct, including a new shopping centre.

  We are pleased to share with you that Brisbane City Council has approved Mirvac’s application to demolish structures at the flood damaged Toombul centre. This is an important step forward for the regeneration of the site.

We’re pleased to let you know we received almost 10,000 pieces of incredible feedback that have been carefully considered and will help inform our continued planning for the future of Toombul, along with planning outcomes and commercial considerations.
